How to Clean a Small Flat in 20 Minutes a Day
Share
You can keep a small flat clean with 20 minutes a day: wipe surfaces, do a quick floor pass, handle laundry in small loads and reset one zone. Little and often beats one big weekend clean.
Why small flats need a different approach
In a small home, mess shows up fast and there is nowhere to hide it. The good news is that a small space also cleans quickly. A daily routine keeps it from ever becoming a big job.
The 20-minute plan
Minutes 1 to 5: Surfaces
Spray the kitchen counter, dining table and any desk with the Multi-Purpose Cleaner and wipe. One bottle covers everyday surfaces at home.
Minutes 6 to 12: Floor
Drop half a Floor Cleaner Sheet in a half-filled bucket. It dissolves, you mop, done. Do high-traffic areas daily and the rest every other day.
Minutes 13 to 17: Laundry
Small loads suit a small flat. Tear a laundry sheet in half for a regular load. No bottle to store, which matters when space is tight.
Minutes 18 to 20: One zone reset
Pick one zone a day: bathroom shelf, shoe rack, fridge door, bed corner. Reset it and move on.
Make it stick
- Do it at the same time every day.
- Keep supplies visible and within reach.
- Choose products that look good, so you are happy to leave them out.
