Laundry Sheets vs Liquid vs Powder vs Pods: Which Format Suits You?
Share
Sheets are the lightest and easiest to store and travel with. Liquid is familiar and quick to pour. Powder is economical in bulk. Pods are pre-dosed but bulky. The right pick depends on how you live.
The four formats
Detergent sheets
Flat, pre-measured and dry. Nothing to pour or spill, and they take almost no space. You can tear a sheet for a small load. Good for small flats, travel, hostels and anyone who dislikes bottles. See our Laundry Detergent Sheets.
Liquid
Familiar and easy to pour, but heavy, easy to overpour and prone to sticky caps and spills.
Powder
Often the most economical in bulk and good for tough scrubbing, but it can leave residue, clump in humidity and spill.
Pods
Pre-dosed, but you cannot adjust for a small load, and the tub is bulky.
