What Are Laundry Detergent Sheets and How Do They Work?
Share
Laundry detergent sheets are thin, pre-measured sheets of detergent that dissolve in water during the wash. You tear a sheet, drop it in with your clothes and start the machine. There is no bottle, no cap and no measuring.
How do they work?
The sheet is a dry carrier for the cleaning formula. When it meets water in the drum, it dissolves and releases the cleaning agents into the wash. In Klevay sheets those agents are coconut based surfactants, in a 3-in-1 formula.
How many sheets do I need?
Half a sheet for a regular load, a full sheet for a large one. A Klevay pack of 30 sheets gives up to 60 half-sheet washes.
Why is there so little foam and scent?
Both are by design. Low foam suits front load and top load machines, and a very mild scent keeps the detergent smell out of your clothes. If you want fragrance, add it on purpose with a fabric spray.
Where do I put the sheet?
In the drum with the clothes, not in the detergent drawer. For hand wash, dissolve it in the basin first.
